The Premiership Rugby Scholarship winners will experience what it’s like to coach professional rugby in the UK visiting three clubs. Previously coaches have visited Harlequins, Leicester, London Irish, Northampton Saints, Saracens and Wasps whilst taking part in a series of high-level rugby and knowledge transfer sessions. During the week in England, coaches will take part in a Level 300 coaching training course, co-delivered by Premiership Rugby and USA Rugby. Coaches will be hosted in England from 19-26 April 2020, while applications close on January 26.
Coaches will learn about and engage with Premiership Rugby’s award-winning community programs that use rugby as a tool for social change, covering all methodologies used in these life-changing initiatives.
The coaches will also gain insight into various ways Premiership Rugby clubs are engaging their players, fans and communities to instil the core values of rugby.
The Premiership Rugby Scholarships initiative is funded primarily by Friends of the British Council, through the generosity of individual donors, foundations, corporations, clubs and organisations, who recognise the value of international exchange and networks for professional development.APPLY NOW
